Today my sister got arrested for a peaceful rally. It kind of sucks. Innocent people hurt. The British Cruelty got over 53 years ago. Feel the Indian Caste cruelty today. The following LJ's should be a good read. If you come accross this dont ignore. GO to tasha87 and trilingual_girl and check their 13th MAY entries. It should make a difference.

Please check it if you care.

And do spread the word.
By the way STAR NEWS SUCKS. ALL FAKE NEWS. They support the police and not the truth. And yes the police suck too.

YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE IF...

...your favourite hangout is, strangely enough, some place called a 'foyer'!!!!!!!!!!!

...you have your own 'woods'!!! which actually consists of 3 and ½ trees. And the only animal to be found there is a tabby cat.

...no one mouths the initials of your college for fear of being labelled a downmarket roadside Romeo.(SX)

….when you first joined college you heard a strange rumor that wearing red was banned.

...the coffeeguy actually knows what you will have before you ask him for it.

...The two counters that make most profit are the Coffee and Xerox center.

...India Today was your fave mag last year, but is now an establishment rag???.

...your heartbeat in the months of July and August sounds something like 'Mal-har, Mal-har'!!! (French version reveals that it is Malheure- an established season of heartaches and heartbreaks.)

...you're reading Nietsczhe and 'Archie and Jughead Doubles Digest'---simultaneously.

...the sandwich-guy near the gate keeps you waiting ten minutes for a cheese toast because he's on his mobile phone.???

...your grandparents go misty-eyed at the mention of your college.

...but your parents search your bag every night for any loose pot/tobacco.

...you stay in contact with your teachers with regular emails (if u do) !!!!

...your college friends give you a peace symbol for your birthday.

...but your non-Xavierite friends will substitute your (perfectly valid)
excuse for not attending last night's 'The Bold and the Beautiful' theme party with "Oh well, you're a XAVIERITE"

...you don't catch a movie at any of the six theatres around you because you're too busy having fun in Lit. class, the Mmr ,Scavi.....

...Honours leaves you with very little time for a social-life, except if ur life begins and ends with Xaviers.

...exactly half your seniors are abroad on scholarships/exchange programmes, and the other half are working at the Times of India.!!!

....Ex-Xavierites take ur college magazine and never return it, same goes for departmental journals.

...the person you fear the most is the lady behind the desk at the railway concession office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
